Have to agree greatly with your post, not only on this comp but CJs in general. But to each their own.

 

Where is your progress, Wibi? I was liking the little bit we have seen so far!

 

Currently hiding in the den, hissing at those who comes near it. haha. I'm currently just amazed at how fast & complicated people's CJs are. Once I have progress with mine, will surely share! Currently making the airport, but struggling as I don't have any space for it.

DEMACHIYANAGI DISTRICT

Ishiku Daibutsu Statue & temple,
Located in the southern parts of Nagaoka-Kyō.

Visitors can only visit the temple by cable car, otherwise take the longer route further west of the Daibutsu Hill.

Sports and monuments aside, there's nothing in the world like Akiba. The city's premier shopping district and an international hub of Otaku culture.

I yet have to see a city in which the Buddha Statue is not just placed, but also carefully decorated.
But I am sure you can do that, your previous works show your skills with decorating, @Wibi .
I do like that small wards you created, they look fabulous!

 

Being a tough pill to swallow as usual I see haaah. Everyone, including myself at Xlnation need a Simon Cowell like you from time to time to give those critical yet constructive criticisms! haha Saying things, others not dare to say, bravo Kipate!

I really like what i see. This map with all its hills and nevertheless many flat areas is hard to fill i guess, so everybody deserves acknowledgement. Also it seems there are several styles and ideas again. @Kurtis Edwards i can recognize what your city is going to be... The airport, the harbor zone, the outskirts - everything looks fine so far, i am also curious what you are going to do with that peninsula. @Wibi i hope you won't be angry when i steal some ideas from you I wanna create a modern city too, mainly with nogerivans mods, you did a good job so far.

@Wibi : it's not untypical for People to keep some parts as a secret. And at least one city has not been shown here (not mine, though, no time to participate)...

 

haha my bad. I keep forgetting its a competition sometimes.

Just find it so much fun when everyone's working on the same map and seeing the different outcomes made by different people. I think I need to find another hobby haha! On this website wayy too much

Stunning city, IcyHot! Bravo! That fields and little forests on the hill look gorgeous, the small row of retail buildings in the center of the town gives a nice flair! Congrats!

 

I think he was saying nice "flare", however, I think you think he said "fair". This mistake would be cool, I kinda agree with ya Icy, a little summertime downtown fair would be cool in your village. I forget where that is within the menu, I think it's sports/leisure.
