An Adriatic City

  1. Suburban Districts and Villages

    BahadirB
    Katinovac
If you come to Ardemića on a Cruise tour, this is the first district you are going to see. Even though there is not a direct bus transportation network, you can easily find shuttle coaches by which you can go to metropolitan Ardemića or nearby Croatian towns.

Here is Trg Katinovaceska with the "organic foods" market. Most vegetables cultivated in the Berazic village is sold in this local market. You can also see the stadium of NK Katinovac, playing in the West Division of the Third Football League. 07_03_Trg Katinovaceska.jpg

    Berazic
It is a village in the south of Ardemića on the foothills of Dinaric Alps. The village is mostly preoccupied with wine production, as you can see from the vineyards. With the northern village, Gornja Levanjska, Ardemića is famous for its local blends of red wines. 12_01_Berazic Village.jpg

    Ljubac
It is low-density suburban district for wealthy individuals.

    Djakovo
This district is the main transit hub of the city. Thanks to its large-scale port, most tourists prefer to arrive by ships.

In the eastern peninsula, the current city administration attempts to create incentives for the growth of non-polluting high-tech industry. The district is taking baby-steps for that kind of industrialisation.

    Donja (Lower) Levanjska
The lower Levanjska is the organized industrial zone of the city. One of the most important contributions of the Socialist era was the emergence of an organised, well-located, and out-of-city industrial structure in the city. The modern port is the centre of all industrial and manufacturing business.

    Gornja Levanska
This is a village at the northernmost edge of Ardemića. Like Berazic, Gornja Levanska is famous for its vine production. 13_01_Gornja Levanska.jpg Despite the distance to the city, most tourists make their way up to Gornja Levanjska to taste the local wines of the village.

The crowd merged with villagers and tourist at the centre of Trg Sveti Ivan. The local touristic hotel, and the winehouses of the Gornja Levanjska Winery Co. 13_02_Gornja Levanska Town_Winehouses.jpg
