Welcome back to Maverick!! today, i'm taking you to work with me! my boss and chief editor Stuart Gery told me that i'm going to be covering construction of a new hotel in the city! there were rumors of the Westin corporation buying a plot of land near the Shryker Center where there sat an abandoned group of buildings, and the rumors proved to be true!
Good Morning, this is Warzazio Follen, reporting for Maverick News 21 at the construction site of the Westin Maverick, a soon to be 5 star hotel to be completed in a few months! as seen here, the new hotel is already topped off!
A shot from our helicopters already show that the hotel is already going to be a wonderful addition to the city! another construction, seen to the right (south from the Shryker Center) is an apartment building, on of many already in the Fulicia Park district.
Thanks, Warzazio. in other news, Construction on the -[62]- highway in the industrial park has been halted due to the worker's strike. the 14 Billion hath project was meant to continue north to a to be constructed Arken River Bridge.
The -[62]- Depicted here in pre-construction, currently has a highway stub that is meant to be -[27]- and is only about 20% completed.
the overpass going to Highway -[27]- is actually void of any road traffic due to halts on what the workers call, "terrible conditions".
They argue that the lack of usable bathrooms after one of the workers somehow blocked the entire construction site sewage system, and the refusal of the company's HR to solve the problem in a timely manner is the cause of their strike. It is unclear when the new port o potties will be installed. That's all for us now, us at MNews 21 will see you at 10.
