CJ Skamania, a gem of the Pacific Northwest

A beautiful city located in the Pacific Northwest

  1. Update 2: Skamania, now with 154,000 souls

    Skamania continues to grow and thrive with the economy primarily focused around tourism. With the city coffers flush with funds in taxes and profit from exports the city has started construction of a bus system to move people from the central core out to jobs in the industrial areas and the growing expanse of Holiday Hotels around the large lake. The city council hopes to expand the system into a rail and metro system if projections of city growth prove true. The city plans to expand the hotel/tourism industry completely around the lake and then begin developing the large fresh spring water resources of the region.

    Realizing the "gem" the lake and surrounding mountains provides the city the following ordinances were recently passed

    City Municipal Code

    SKA005.03 -- Motorized water craft are prohibited on Lake Goose Hollow with the exception of transportation ferries and law enforcement
    SKA005.56 -- Residential Housing is prohibited above the 1800 foot level, so that everyone may enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The area has been designated a regional scenic area.

    What's Next?

    1. Expand Holiday Hotels Around the Lake (hopefully this will increase the city tax base enough to start water development )
    2. Construct 10 Saint Mary's Office Tower (I just think it's a cool building and every city needs one)
    3. Construct Sacre Coeur on Cathedral Hill (been to Paris and loved it there and think it will look great in Skamania)
    4. Start Developing the Water Resources on the Map
    5. Construct "Christ of the Cascades" at Crown Point (I know the perfect spot)
    6. Construct the Winter community of "Government Camp" (Just like the real thing along US Highway 26 up near Mt Hood)
