    Well here's another screeny. Population is over 330000. I moved the airport and have turned the old airport area into an industrial area. I've been putting down more farms and details along the river's edge. Also been adding bus lines all over as well. cxl_screenshot_bootleggin_60.jpg

    This city looks extremely nice!

    @skullz613 : To make it realistic, you could try to terraform the terrain in the landing zone
    of the airport.
    Btw, as I know you got an eye for beautiful landscapes, but what about implementing some
    wildlife park in the mountainside? Only if the PC can handle the more plazas, of course...

    Wow, these cities are really coming along. I am pretty excited about the popularity of this contest. God I hope I can find the people to judge the categories. The Community will vote on the Winner and Runner Up

    Wow, the cities are coming along very nicely indeed! Haven't been here for a week or so and look at all the development!

    @ovarz: I just feel in peace looking at your city, very Elvish, in 23rd century

    I lost two hours work last night :cry: Went to save, clicked yes to over write the previous save, the screen flashes a bit and then CXL starts loading a save point. Don't know what happened. Once it loaded all not work I had done was gone.
    I was so angry I nearly just quit my city.

    Yeah, I know that feeling. The save menu is confusing sometimes, I always check twice before clicking anything after that happened to me.

    i never overwrite my saves - just back them up and then delete the old ones, if necessary... much safer bc of the game, and my own own mistakes

    Time to brag a bit more. City is up to 330,000. Traffic is horrid, only way to fix is to tighten up the CBD I think. I cant believe how fast the time is moving for this contest. Shortly I have to start "fine tuning" areas, especially the farming. There are three areas I still want to expand into but I am running out of time.

    Looks really good Icyhot. I wish I have done a expressway through mine now. There's still a bit of time so I might try bulldozing an area through the city center and suburbs on a different save file.
