    I am finally biting the bullet on this one. Several things, like cxxl, are eating up my time. I'll save what I have started of my city for another day. Good luck to everyone - you have some great cities going! Looking forward to seeing the final submissions.

    Come on guys, 13 categories to compete,
    and it looks like only only 3 categories do have their
    favourites already, given that everyone who wanted
    to compete did show some photos already...
    Also, I yet have to see a city that competes for
    Best Industrial City...

    my city is coming along slowly but surely im trying something very different that i haven't done before and haven't seen before. its a risk but hopefully it will pay off

    Here are some very good cities! Hope that we also may see City Journals of them. I'm thinking about to take part the next map contest, if there will be one. For this time it's too late, i'm afraid. Good luck everyone, may the best win! :)

    it is not too late. most of people are already done with their cities and it took them less than a month. you still have an entire month to get the work done. :)

    You are never too late. One of the really wide open categories is the "Best Industrial" City. (hint hint). Make it look like Charleston West Virginia that is a heavy industrial corridor along an interstate and river

    For me a month is too short to do a quality city, because i need time and more tries as you may think. In Addition i'm working on a new city at the moment. As said, i'll take part at the next map competition, as far it is without restrictions like this time. :)

    All right folks, the countdown has started. Start submitting your official entries in the Bootleg River City Building contest in this thread. You have until January 31, 2015, to finish your cities and submit your photos. It's not too late to start, never fear you have a month still to build your masterpieces.
