It looks like Cities In Motion 2 rather than Cities Skylines.

Hes, yeah, the new image looks really better than some of the older ones (y)
Also, will some of the other tram lines connect Randwick and the University with the center and the other suburbs? That would probably allow students to live within another suburb :D

Yep! There is already an underground train line to Randwick via Parliament and University/Hospital. The proposed tram line is just a supplementary route with about 10 tram stops between two underground train stations. The density within central area is very high so it should be viable :)

You should probably transfer the new photos onto the main page of your journal, that way people could directly have an informed view of the city without having to look through all the updates^^

I think I like Croydon and Stockport the most. Especially the industrial atmosphere of Stockport fascinates me :)
What I dislike though are all these elevated highways cutting through the inner city and the suburbs, reminds me of some American highways, e.g. the Embarcadero San Francisco (luckily demolished), or the I-5 in Seattle :D I hope that the tram system will allow for the demolition of these highways^^

Nice update! I find the concept of the express tram lines interesting. Not sure how it can be realized, though. Will these tram lines have their own lanes such that they are partly independent of the traffic flows on the Wellington roads? So similar to railways?

Also, why closing all the roads for 11 months? In case you just reduce the number of usable lanes, then it shoukd be fine?
